An Afternoon Tea for the elderly was organised by the Parry Family Charitable Foundation and held at St John’s Marlborough. Elderly residents from the Marlborough area visited the school for an afternoon of delicious food and fun entertainment.

Pabulum staff, Sue Stafford and Lynne Hines created a selection of finger sandwiches on bloomer and homemade Tomato & Basil bread followed by an exciting choice of individual homemade cakes including scones, individual Victoria sponges, ginger and fruit cake.

Entertainment was provided by the students from St John’s 6th Form. Sue said “It was a really fantastic event to be part of. It’s always great to give something back to the community and we work hard to ensure we do what we can to support the school and local residents”.
