Parent’s enjoy cookery demo

A parent cookery workshop was requested by Belmont Junior School who were keen for the chefs to engage with parents and showcase the food, menus and fresh ingredients that we use.

Jeremy Bennett, Operations Manager, and Jaime Gardener, Development Chef planned an interactive forum that delivered an overview to how our school lunches enhance their children’s day and how this supports healthy eating and lifestyle.

Jaime did a live demo where he produced the Pabulum Tomato Sauce and a Quorn and Spring Green Stir Fry. In true Blue Peter style, he had pre-prepared the Pabulum Lasagne and Butternut Squash Pie, all of which were extremely well received by the audience.
