Pabulum Catering were delighted to be involved in the 40th birthday celebrations of Stannah on Monday 15th June. Stannah marked 40 years of producing stairlifts at their base in Andover with a Hog Roast and Barbeque for 700 employees.

Jim White and the Stannah team were supported by Pabulum caterers from several local schools including:

  • Sue Stratford, St John’s Marlborough
  • Liz Wuestner, Gillotts School
  • Jaime Gardner, Winterbourne Academy
  • Bruno Bevan, Churchfields Academy
  • Steve Spofford, Worle Community School
  • Andy Smith, Pabulum development chef
  • Andrei Ando, relief chef manager

The theme was an English Garden Fete and there were ice cream vans and strawberries and cream for dessert for give that true English feel. There were also some entertaining side shows such as pig racing and 'test your strength', as well as a Photo Booth to capture some amusing memories from this special event.

The venue was decorated with bunting, hay bales and English flowers which gave an authentic fete feel and looked really impressive. Three generations of the Stannah family attended the event and cut the birthday cake which was made by Sue at St Johns Marlborough, to mark the occasion.undefined

Mike Richardson, sales and marketing director said "Thank you to all the chefs who helped prepare such delicious food for this exciting Stannah milestone. It was fantastic to be involved in this celebration and see chefs from different schools working together to create food for so many guests. The whole event was a huge success and we've had some lovely feedback from those who attended. It was truly a team effort and great to see our chefs working so closely together."
