With under a week to go until the winners are announced at this year’s prestigious Hampshire Business Awards, we’re delighted to be finalists in the KPMG Company of the Year category.

The Hampshire Business Awards is the premier annual business competition in the region, providing a showcase for the exceptional strength, flair and innovation of businesses from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. In spite of the economic recession, many organisations have continued to perform strongly and the Awards offer the opportunity to celebrate the continuing success of local business in the region.

To be in the running to be named Hampshire’s premier company, Pabulum needed to demonstrate an outstanding financial track record, with strong sales growth and a commitment to increasing profitability. In addition, the criteria for KPMG’s Company of the Year specified that the company: must display the ability to think strategically, keep abreast of new developments both in its own industry and the wider economy, as well as illustrate plans for future growth. Last but not least, the panel was looking for companies which exhibited a strong commitment to employees' needs and aspirations, together with contribution to the county's environment through sustainable business practices.

Tough criteria, we think you’ll agree, which is why we’re thrilled to have been named one of three finalists – an achievement which pays testament to the efforts of the Pabulum team.

Winners will be announced at an exclusive gala awards dinner at Avington Park on 22nd September!
