On July 15th 2010, a selection of Pabulum’s Unit Managers and Fleet Office staff travelled from across the South to Wokefeld Park, Reading, to attend Pabulum’s first company conference – Meet 2010.

The event was a buzz of activity, with approximately 100 people in attendance. The jam-packed agenda focused on taking a fresh approach (in a business sense) – looking at how we’ve developed as a company, where we’re going and how, as a fabulous team, we’re going to get there. A huge thanks goes to a number of our suppliers who attended and helped support the event@ including 3663, CafeBar, Dairy Crest, Easi Yo, Ecolab, GSK, Love Joes, Denny's Mars, New Forest Ice Cream and Tropical Ice.
Highlights included a presentation by our Group Finance Director, Trevor Sharp, about Pabulum’s interesting ‘Journey’ so far (including lots of interesting facts and embarrassing pictures along the way), and Jonathan Gawthrop, Managing Director, provided an exciting insight into what the future holds for the company (below).

As well as this, attendees had the chance to meet suppliers, mingle with colleagues and a few even picked up an award:
Ecolab Clean Kitchen Award
Coombe Girls' School
Purchasing Award
Totton College
Operations Manager Award - Best Contract Retention Results
Vasos Lazarou
Operations Manager Award - Best Financial Performance
Matthew Smith
Marketing Award
Southampton City College
Unit of the Year
Oak Farm School
Chairman's Award
Carlene Black from Henry Wellcome
Thanks to all for making Meet 2010 such a success – we hope to make Meet 2011 even bigger and better!
We'll be showcasing pictures from the event in September - keep an eye on the website!
